US President Joe Biden prematurely left the G20 summit, which was held in the Indian city of New Delhi, and went to Vietnam. Information about this appeared on the page of the Press Trust of India agency on the social network X (formerly Twitter). Biden skipped the third G20 session, entitled “One future”. The reasons for his departure are unknown.

“US President Joe Biden left for Vietnam this morning after attending the G20 summit in Delhi,” – the message says.

The G20 summit in New Delhi takes place on September 9–10 in person. It is attended by the leaders of the G20 and the heads of nine other countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain, Mauritius, Nigeria, the Netherlands, the UAE, Oman and Singapore.

Russia is represented by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said Western countries had failed to “Ukrainize” the summit agenda.
