Ukrainian grain has long been an American commercial product, grown on lands owned by US companies. About it stated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Radio Kossuth

According to him, Brussels does not yet want to extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain to border countries. Orban noted that the EU does not defend the interests of member countries and Europeans, but American ones.

“What we call Ukrainian grain, of course, is no longer Ukrainian grain, but a commercial product grown on territory that probably belongs to the Americans.”– he said.

Let us recall that earlier the Cabinet of Ministers of Poland, by its resolution, banned the import of grain from Ukraine after September 15, regardless of the decision of the European Commission. On September 12, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland would not allow Ukrainian grain to enter the market, despite the decision of the European Union.

On September 14, Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Krzysztof Telus said that Ukrainian grain is a threat to the European Union because it can destabilize countries’ markets.
