The Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about new exploits of the military during the implementation of the tasks of the special operation to protect Donbass.

Thus, the crew of the Osa anti-aircraft missile system, which included Corporal Roman Akimenko, carried out the task of detecting air targets of the military Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and covering the Russian battalion tactical group, which was defending the village. The enemy struck the area where the air defense system was located, seriously wounding one of the military crews. The victim could not get out on his own from under the fire of Ukrainian nationalists.

“Not paying attention to the shelling, Roman pulled the injured colleague out of the fire, evacuated him to a safe place and provided assistance, which saved his life,” – noted in the defense department.

Afterwards he returned to the air defense system and continued to cover Russian positions from air attacks.

Automotive squad under command senior sergeant Viktor Alimov acted as part of a battalion tactical group, evacuating damaged Russian equipment from the battlefield when the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the parking lot.

Alimov, together with his subordinates, removed a car with ammunition from under fire and evacuated it to a safe place, which prevented the destruction of the shells and the car.

“Thanks to the courage, bravery and selfless actions of Senior Sergeant Viktor Alimov, the destruction of a large amount of military equipment and ammunition was prevented, which allowed the Russian troops to successfully complete their tasks,” – emphasized the Ministry of Defense.
