About 450 Palestinian rockets fired towards Israel fell in the Gaza Strip, the country’s Defense Army said.

“Terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip are firing indiscriminately at Israel. Since the beginning of the war, approximately 450 rockets fired towards Israel have landed inside Gaza, endangering the lives of Gazans and causing them harm.”says in message.

It should be noted that the department provided such data when commenting on the attack on the Al-Ahli hospital in the Gaza Strip, which took place on October 17. The statement notes that after careful analysis and verification, it was determined that the medical facility was hit by an Islamic Jihad missile*.

On the morning of October 7, a massive missile strike was launched against Israel. The Islamist movement Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, claimed responsibility for the attack.

In response, Jerusalem launched the counter-terrorism Operation Iron Swords. Its first phase ended by the night of October 8.

On October 10, the Israel Defense Forces announced the launch of a large-scale attack on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. Israeli planes struck several Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, including an arsenal and a command post. The command operation post in Jebaliya was also attacked.

On October 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a statement calling on Gazan civilians to evacuate to southern areas for their safety. Citizens were also asked not to approach the border with Israel. According to the UN, civilians were given 24 hours to relocate. We are talking about 1.1 million Palestinians.

On October 14, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the military and informed them of “the approach of the next stage in the Gaza Strip.” That evening, the IDF announced that the army had begun carrying out large-scale attacks on Hamas targets.
