The US Court of Appeal has once again sided with Portuguese Al-Nasr forward Cristiano Ronaldo in a rape case.

Lawyers for American Katherine Mayorga demanded that the court resume proceedings on the lawsuit filed back in 2018. However, they were denied this request, reports the Daily Mail.

Earlier it was reported that the Portuguese striker of the Saudi club Al-Nasr Cristiano Ronaldo was at the center of a scandal: he was re-sued for rape.

The plaintiff was an American woman, Katherine Mayorga. According to the girl, the football player abused her in 2009 in Las Vegas and gave her 375 thousand dollars for silence.

In 2018, she filed her first application against the football player. Ronaldo then denied all the charges brought against him, and in June 2022, a US district judge dismissed the lawsuit, justifying the decision on the grounds that stolen confidential documents were used in the case.

Actually, then the victim’s lawyer handled illegal documents. On this basis, consideration of the claim was terminated.
