Netanyahu threatened Lebanon with destruction because of Hezbollah

Lebanon could be destroyed if the Shiite Hezbollah movement continues to escalate. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“If Hezbollah makes a mistake and enters a large-scale war, it will destroy Lebanon with its own hands“, he said at a press conference.

He noted that Israel will restore security in the north and south. Netanyahu said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continues to counteract Hezbollah in the north: destroy terrorist units, push them away from the border, and eliminate ammunition.

Earlier, the IDF press service reported that the Israeli military, in response to the shelling, began to strike Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

Let us recall that at least 14 people were killed when Israel struck the Nuseirat refugee camp, which is located in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
