British tourist Pretesh Wagdia, 48, appears to be heading for divorce. Also the police are looking for him.
British tourist Pretesh Wagdia, 48, spent £3.5 thousand (UAH 164.8 thousand) in one night on prostitutes and booze and told his wife and police officers that he was the victim of a nefarious fraud scheme. The Daily Star wrote about it.

Everything would be fine, but law enforcement found videos from security cameras and released them. It looks like the man is now facing divorce.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, this story happened on November 17 this year in Copacabana, Brazil. Wagdia, who works as a public transport driver in London, had fun all night while his wife was sitting in a rented flat.
The man danced and ordered drinks at a local nightclub and then tried to check into a hotel with two prostitutes. He couldn’t pay for the room because his card was blocked.
His wife called the bank the other day. The woman was frightened and shocked by the amount of money debited from the account and suspected it was a scam.
The next morning the British tourist returned home and told his wife a completely made-up story about drugs and robbery.
By the time the police learned the truth, Vagdia had already left Brazilian territory. Now he wants to stand trial on charges of making false statements.
Let’s remember this before Focus wrote about tourist Diana Albers Ramirez, who, with her lover, found the entrance to a corridor of secret rooms in a hotel room. While the lovers were doing a video tour, they came across a secret door in a wardrobe. Their videos went viral, garnering almost 33 million views and over a hundred thousand likes.
We also told how a 50-year-old Lithuanian faked a heart attack in at least 20 restaurants in Spain to avoid paying the bill. The name of the tourist was not disclosed. The man was jailed after his infamous series of “dinner theatres” for failing to pay two fines and staging a highly dramatic show in almost all establishments, mostly on the Costa Blanca.
