Investigators said Russian intelligence services were directing the flow of illegal immigrants to the Finnish border. At the same time, intermediaries who take money from people wanting to enter the EU are not stopped or punished.
The FSB of the Russian Federation organizes Syrians who want to become refugees in Western Europe into groups and brings them to the Russia-Finland border. Russian special services deliberately created a plan so that a large number of people would gather at the entrance to Finland, they would be given bicycles and asked to move to the opposite side. Details of the activities of the FSB of the Russian Federation are discussed in an investigation published on The Insider portal.
Important
Investigators discovered how Syrian citizens, as well as citizens of Iran, Yemen, Ethiopia and Egypt, entered the Russian Federation. The program works with the help of private intermediary firms and smugglers who “assist” immigrants arriving in Belarus or Russia in exchange for money. At a certain stage, Russian special services become involved and “guide” the refugees from the airport to the Finnish border.
The first way is for refugees to become imaginary students of Russian universities and go to Finland. The Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, the capital of Syria, organizes special invitations in which admission is discussed based on the average score of the certificate. Some companies help in this process by asking 1.5 thousand dollars from those who are interested.
The Syrian or Iranian who paid the money boarded the plane and landed at one of Russia’s airports. That’s when Russian special services came into play, according to The Insider’s materials. One “colonel” in particular was meeting people at the exit of the plane and directing them to people, who were then taking them directly to the Finnish border. This country has gradually closed all crossing points as thousands of illegal immigrants want to cross the border.
The second route was through Belarus: local smugglers contacted by investigators were helping those who wanted to do this. According to them, at some point “Russian officers” contacted the carriers. Officers explained that there was a simpler way to get to Europe via Finland. The contact occurred a month and a half ago, approximately in October 2023. It is worth noting that the flow of migrants has increased since November, the media reported.
After this, illegal immigrants were transported north. They charged $ 1,200 for services, part of the money went to intermediaries, and $ 700 was allocated to Russian border guards. Border guards met people who were in the country illegally, gave them bicycles and directed them to the Finnish checkpoint.
Investigators also explained why Russia acted the way it did. According to political scientists, this is being done to take revenge on Finland, which is a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Finland and Russia – details
Note that due to the excessive number of people trying to enter Finland, the government of this country decided to close all crossing points – this became known in early December. They tried to lift the ban on December 14, but quickly abandoned this idea: on the Russian side, the flow of refugees from Asia did not decrease, people did not go anywhere.
Meanwhile, shortly before the war, in the autumn of 2021, there was a refugee crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border. Belarusian authorities have received dozens of planes full of illegal immigrants. They then found themselves in the border forest and tried to enter EU territory via Poland.
We would like to remind you that on December 26, a political scientist predicted that immigrants who come to work in the Russian Federation will become active participants in the collapse of Putin’s Russia. Meanwhile, in Moscow, a major fight broke out between law enforcement officers and immigrants: the cause of the fight was an attempt on the life of a driver from Asia.
