Melania Trump’s mother dies in the US

Former first lady Melania Trump’s mother Amalia Knavs died on Tuesday, January 9, at the age of 78, her daughter said.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother Amalia. Amalia Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth and dignity.”Trump wrote on her social media page X.

Melania added that her mother was completely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson and son-in-law and they will miss her and honor her legacy.

According to ABC television, Knavs passed away on Tuesday in Florida.

Earlier it became known that the grandson of the first secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev, Alexei Adzhubey, died in Moscow. His friend contacted law enforcement agencies and medical services because the man did not get in touch, and no one opened the door to the apartment.
