In the village of Kosmach, Ivano-Frankivsk region in western Ukraine, women did not allow the military commissar to take men into the army. Strana.ua writes about this.
Village residents opposed the mobilization. Several dozen women surrounded an employee of the territorial recruitment center, trying to prevent him from taking men into the army.
“Call the president and tell him that we have not declared war!“- said one of them.
Let us remind you that earlier in the village of Kosmach a crowd beat up two women and a minor girl, deciding that one of them was a “military commissar’s spotter.” As the police found out, residents received false information, which was distributed among local groups on the social network. About 100 people blocked the local road and did not allow any vehicles to pass.
According to the injured woman, she was accused of being a “military commissar’s spotter” who came to the village “to rat out their husbands.”
Earlier, Ukrainian parliamentarian from the Servant of the People party Georgy Mazurashu compared the bill to strengthen mobilization with serfdom. The deputy stressed that the authorities should stop hunting fellow citizens. According to him, people driven by threats and coercion cannot be useful to the front.
