National exercises of the country’s Armed Forces with the participation of the armies of other countries, Dragon-24, will start on February 25 in Poland, the General Staff of the Polish Army announced.

According to the report, in total, about 20 thousand military personnel from ten NATO countries will take part in the exercises, 15 thousand of which are Polish military personnel. 3.5 thousand units of military equipment will also be involved.

Earlier, the exercise was announced by the Polish Ministry of Defense. The ministry reported that the main forces participating in the event will be the 11th Lubusz Armored Division.

The purpose of the exercise is to test the interaction of military personnel and the performance of combat missions in the sea, air and on land. Military operations will also be carried out in cyberspace.

Let us recall that Assistant Minister of Defense of Belarus Valery Revenko previously indicated that NATO’s plans to hold the Dragon-2024 military exercises in Poland mean that Warsaw has decided to escalate tensions in relations with Minsk. As Chief of the Polish General Staff Wieslaw Kukula noted, the number of people who will take part in these exercises makes them the largest in Europe.
