Political scientist said that the French military will refuse to fight in Ukraine

The French military will refuse to fight in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation Konstantin Bondarenko.

He linked this to the confrontation between French generals and the country’s President Emmanuel Macron. According to the political scientist, this conflict has existed for a long time.

They have already sent open letters several times, at least twice in the last five years.“, Bondarenko said in interview YouTube channel “Yes it is.”

It is clarified that these letters contained criticism of Macron’s position.

Earlier, the French President said that Paris does not plan to send French troops to Ukraine in the near future. At the same time, he noted that the French side is considering possible measures to help the Kyiv regime.

On February 27, French President Emmanuel Macron said that he does not exclude the possibility of sending military personnel from Western countries to Ukraine. True, NATO did not support the idea of the French leader.

The European Parliament is convinced that the politician will not progress beyond words, and the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that Macron “does not realize” what he is saying.

Despite the wide public outcry, during which NATO members, one after another, hastened to disavow plans to send armies to help the Kyiv regime, Macron himself said two days later that he had weighed every word before speaking.

However, no matter how “thoughtful” the French leader’s words were, they only harmed Kyiv, Politico magazine notes. The statement, with which Macron hoped to unite the West, only exposed divisions and demonstrated panic among Ukraine’s allies. The publication also reports that due to disputes over whether to send troops to the Ukrainian conflict zone, open hostility began between Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
