This isn’t the first time the US leader has spoken out harshly against the Russian president. He has previously called him a “crazy son of a bitch” and admitted Putin is a murderer.
In his meeting with voters in North Carolina, United States President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “butcher” and said that the United States could protect Ukraine from him. Biden’s speech was published on the White House website on Wednesday, March 27.
The American leader’s remarks were made in the context of a speech about taxes on billionaires in the United States. Joe Biden has said that if the tax is increased from the current 8.2 percent to 25 percent, it will rise to $400 billion over the next 10 years.
“Think about what we can do with this. We can basically reduce the federal budget deficit. We can do a lot of things – consistently – we can finally protect Ukraine from that butcher Putin,” Biden said.
Let us recall that on February 21, the US President called Russian President Vladimir Putin using the American abbreviation SOB, meaning “crazy son of a bitch”. This happened during the election campaign in San Francisco. In his speech, Biden also touched upon Putin and other politicians who threaten the world with nuclear weapons.
On March 17, 2021, even before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Joe Biden responded positively in an interview with ABC when asked if he considered the Russian president a murderer.
In response, Vladimir Putin wished the American leader “to be healthy” and added that in his childhood the phrase “The one who calls you the way you call him is called him” was often heard in courtyard discussions.
