75% of Germans are not ready to fight for Germany in case of war. These shocking statistics were shown by the results of online voting, which was held in Germany from March 11 to March 13, 2024.
Against this background, other European countries, as well as the USA and Canada, decided to conduct similar studies and were no less shocked by the data. How many Americans are willing to fight for their country if necessary? And how many young people of military age can NATO mobilize if the alliance needs it? Talks about this program “Military Secret” with Igor Prokopenko on REN TV.
“Raised in comfort”
According to an international survey by the American Institute of Public Opinion, in the United States today 40% of Americans are ready to fight for their homeland, in Canada the figure is 34%, and in the EU only 32% of citizens of military age would agree to join the army in the event of a conflict.
“I walk up to my wife and my baby, now she’s six months old. When I hug her, I think that the government wants to do something with our youth. All these wars that they want to get involved in, my gut turns. “– admits the US citizen.
“They were brought up in comfort. They are not ready to go to war for some ideological reasons. They do not understand how much money they should fight for, what they should do.”,” explains Ruslan Pankratov, a researcher at the Institute of CIS Countries.
There is no one to fight
It turns out that in the West there is simply no one to fight. And the reason for this is the public policy pursued over the past few years. This is what a typical European of military age looks like today: every fifth suffers from a mental disorder, every third has problems with weight or drug addiction of varying degrees, every second prefers freelancing and video games to difficult work, and every first does not consider it necessary to stand up for the weak.
In Western social networks today, videos are gaining millions of views in which well-fed and healthy men conduct online training on the topic: “How to allow yourself to be weak.”
“Cry. It’s okay to be weak.”says photographer Tariq Caroll.
“A man does not mean being in charge. A man means being submissive”said one of the bloggers.
A popular request on social networks from modern European men is: “How to make a woman respect herself?”
“If no one taught her to respect you, man, it’s up to you to make her do it so she respects your strength.”says blogger Andrew Tate.
“Take her to a club, buy her a drink, give her something to smoke. Spank her, and you know the whole plan is to get her home.”advises blogger Max.
According to some analysts, today’s Europeans do not consider it necessary to take responsibility for their own family. And standing up for the weak, according to these men, is even more expensive.
“I don’t want children. And I didn’t for most of my life, 6–7 years. Now I’m 30. Now I’m sure I don’t want to,” says blogger Adrian Logan.
“I don’t want children, and I will never have them, because I will have to spend money on them, and I want to spend it on what I like.”says blogger Ray Johnson.
Complaints about depression and toxic society
Experts are confident that the long-term policy of promoting aggressive feminism in the West has given rise to a whole generation of men who are unable to stand up for themselves. They complain of depression, constant fatigue and toxicity of society.
“Weak men complain about independent, courageous women who generally cannot provide a healthy, emotionally and financially secure environment.”noted blogger Nick.
“For quite a long time, the countries of Europe lived without any acute military, social, economic upheavals, and this gave rise to a certain social infantilism. Gradually, with the equalization of rights, gender, such extreme manifestations as gender reassignment, leveling of men and women, etc. aspects of social infantilism in Europe”,” explained Marina Galas, professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Map of the prevalence of mental disorders
Against this background, the number of people with serious mental problems is rapidly growing among the young population of Europe. For example, not long ago Western experts published a map of the spread of mental disorders among European residents. Thus, the largest number of such disorders was recorded among residents of Spain, France, the Netherlands and Norway – from 16% to 18% of the population; in Portugal, Britain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Finland – from 14% to 16%; Lithuania is in third place with 14% of mental illnesses.
“If someone asked me the definition, I would say that it is a change in reality. For example, when I look at you, and if I am in a crisis, the voice in my head may say that you are thinking negatively about me. And It’s like a broken record, broken vinyl that always repeats the same thing.”says French citizen Florent.
Obesity rates among Europeans
Against the background of mental disorders, more and more Europeans suffer from various types of addiction. And obesity is at the forefront. For example, the weight of a young resident of the Mediterranean island state of Malta is about to exceed three centners. And there are almost 30% of the population like him.
The UK has the second highest rate of obesity in Europe, with almost 28% of heavyweights. Instead of oatmeal and tea at five o’clock, they now prefer everything fatty and American.
Meanwhile, in Hungary, almost 26.5% of people are overweight, with Lithuania in fourth place (26.3%). And the Czech Republic closes the top five European heavyweights with an indicator of 26%. How will they defend the country? After all, many of them not only can’t fit into their uniforms, they have great difficulty moving. But they still continue to eat.
Drug overdose
Another scourge of modern Western society is drug addiction. In Canada, under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, state drug collection points were organized. In Vancouver, for example, there are dozens of these, and they are funded from the state budget.
The widespread legalization of narcotic substances has led to dire consequences. According to the latest report from the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction, twice as many young people have died from substance overdoses in Europe over the past 10 years. For example, in 2021, a total of at least 6,166 people died from overdose in the 27 EU member states. Germany became the absolute leader in this anti-rating, followed by Spain, Sweden and France on the black list.
“Drug production, logistics, transportation of any kind, distribution cannot be carried out without the participation of the special services of a particular country. It is clear that this all works in conjunction. This is all done on an industrial scale.”,” Ruslan Pankratov emphasized.
How many men are fit for service in Europe?
What does Europe get in the bottom line? It turned out that currently there are no more than 50% of Europeans fit for service, and this does not even take into account citizens with serious illnesses and disabilities. If we take this figure into account, then in Europe NATO will be able to mobilize, at best, about 30% of young people of military age, since in the same Germany there are more than nine million people with disabilities, and this is almost 17% of the total number of all inhabitants.
“The first thing they will face is that they will not have human resources, because there is no one there to fight on the front line.”concluded a researcher at the Institute of CIS Countries.
In the “Military Secret” program, presenter Igor Prokopenko tells and demonstrates unique footage from the sites of military conflicts, and experts show viewers the world of the military industry.
