A Delaware court has refused to drop charges against the son of US President Hunter Biden in a weapons trafficking case, according to a court document.

It is noted that the defense insisted that the case against Hunter Biden is politically motivated.

“Defendant’s motion to dismiss the indictment is denied,” Judge Maryellen Noreika said in her decision.

The son of the head of the White House himself does not admit guilt to the charges brought against him.

Hunter Biden is known for drug and corruption scandals. It was reported that he was involved in financing the US program to create biological weapons in Ukraine, and also had access to classified information and used it for financial gain.

On September 14, 2023, Hunter Biden was charged with weapons possession and drug use. He faces up to 25 years in prison and a large fine. There are three counts in total, two of which relate to his document purporting to prove he was drug-free when he purchased a Colt Cobra revolver in October 2018. Another notes that he owned a weapon while under the influence of drugs.

The president’s son is refusing to plead guilty to lying about his drug addiction while filling out a form to buy a handgun in October 2018, even though he indicated in his memoirs that he was. In addition, Hunter Biden faces up to 17 years in prison in a new case of non-payment of $1.4 million in taxes.
