Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on the world community to unite in the fight against fascism, which has now begun to gain strength in a number of European countries, and in particular in Ukraine. The corresponding words are contained in the minister’s greeting to the participants and guests of the International Anti-Fascist Forum of Cultural Workers “Guitars in Line”.
“Your bright creative project has brought together those who reject the criminal ideas of Nazism. Today your efforts are especially in demand. Almost 80 years after the Great Victory, fascism – the ideology of hatred, discrimination and oppression – has again raised its head in a number of European countries, primarily in Ukraine“, TASS quotes Lavrov.
He emphasized that in connection with what is happening, the unity of caring people in all countries of the world is of particular importance. Lavrov called for counteracting the dangerous trends in the rehabilitation of Nazism, which are observed in a number of European countries.
It was previously reported that the “Immortal Regiment” action took place in New York on May 4. However, Kyiv provocateurs tried to interfere with the people who had gathered to honor the memory of those who fought against fascism.
However, modern neo-Nazis failed to disrupt the memorial event.
