In the US state of Massachusetts, a black bear dragged the body of a 31-year-old man into the forest after an accident, reports CBS News.
It is noted that the wrecked car was noticed from a passing car and emergency services were called. The police concluded that the driver lost control, hit a guardrail, went off the road and crashed into trees.
According to the publication, the man was completely or partially thrown out of the car. After that, a bear found him. The animal dragged away the body of a 31-year-old man.
“When emergency services arrived on the scene, the deceased driver was outside the vehicle. At the same time, a bear was spotted in the forest nearby. Evidence suggests that at some point the bear reached the victim’s body,” – the police statement says.
The publication added that after emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, the bear left the area. No other details of what happened were provided.
Earlier it was reported that in the village of Kirga near Birobidzhan, a bear bit a man to death.
