Lukashenko presented Iranian “martyrs” as “internal development” (photo)

The Nomad UAV, shown in Belarus under the guise of its own development, visually very similar to Iran’s Shahed attack drone.

At the military parade dedicated to the anniversary of the independence of Belarus in Minsk, the crew of the Geran-2 attack aircraft, an analogue of the Iranian Shahed UAVs, was noticed. The video was posted on the official website of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

At the same time, during the parade, the announcer introduced the drone “Nomad” as a “new domestic development.”

At the same time, the Telegram channel “Colonel General Staff” noted that the “announced” number on the UAV is a Russian serial number. At the same time, the drones are assembled from Iranian components.

In addition, a standard Iranian CRPA anti-jamming antenna is also clearly visible on the right wing console, the channel added.

They also noted that in Ukraine, “martyrs” began to be registered with numbers of the same series. That is, it is possible that Russia transferred a certain number of devices to Belarus.

Let’s recall that at the beginning of August last year, it became known that Iran was going to build a new facility for the production of Shahed kamikaze drones in Gomel, Belarus. For this purpose, a group of Iranian engineers visited the Gomel Radio Factory. The organizers of their trip were employees of the Russian FSB and the Belarusian KGB. Iranian authorities planned to transfer drone production to Belarus in order to avoid sanctions and pressure from other countries.
