Former US President Donald Trump said he does not intend to change his plans after the assassination attempt on him in Pennsylvania on July 13.

According to the politician, because of what happened, he was going to postpone his trip to Wisconsin for the Republican National Convention by two days, but changed his mind.

“I decided I couldn’t let the shooter… make me change my schedule,” – Trump wrote on his page on the social network Truth Social.

Recall that during a briefing at the White House, US President Joe Biden said that he had instructed the country’s Secret Service to take the necessary measures to ensure Trump’s safety. The American leader also said that he had previously spoken briefly on the phone with the Republican.

The incident occurred on July 13 at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. During the presidential candidate’s speech, a shot rang out, after which Trump grabbed his right ear. Bodyguards and police immediately covered the politician and led him away from the podium.

The shooter turned out to be 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who has already been eliminated by US intelligence agencies.

Donald Trump’s life is currently out of danger. The incident is under investigation.

One person was killed and two others were seriously injured during the assassination attempt on Trump.
