The hostile blogger Vladislav Pozdnyakov has already put an end to the city. The Russians were assured that the store was on the outskirts of the city and that the fight for Sudzha was ongoing.
Ukrainian soldiers pose for a photo near the Pyaterochka store in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The photo was published by the press service of the special forces detachment of the BRAVO Team of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 9.
The platoon said, “Hello everyone!!! ATB’s location is ready.”
BRAVO Team later apologized for forgetting to pack a can of spray paint, a “mistake” that prevented the military from writing “ATB” on a Russian supermarket window.
“We’ll do better next time,” the team promised.
Have the Russians given up on Sudzha?
Vladislav Pozdnyakov, the far-right Russian blogger who distributed the photo, said the city of Sudzha was “now definitely” occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The photo was also published by blogger Alex Parker, affiliated with Wagner PMC. He noted that there are three stores of the Pyaterochka chain in Sudzha.
“It seems that with this all questions about whether there are any dirt on Sudzha will be completely closed,” the Russian emphasized.
However, the “Important Stories” media assured Russians that the photo was taken on the northwestern outskirts of Sudzha.
Journalists noted that the entry of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the western outskirts of Sudzha was known since August 7, and this was even acknowledged by the Russian Ministry of Defense on August 9. Pro-war bloggers reported that the battles for the city continue and that former mercenaries of the Wagner PMC are participating in them.
Let us remind you that after the breakthrough in the Kursk region, there are reports in the media that both Ukraine and the Russian Federation are preparing to escalate the war. In particular, residents are being evacuated from 28 settlements due to the threat of bombardment.
The Legion “Freedom of Russia” said the Kremlin had lost control over an area of 800 square kilometers, where fighting continues in the Kursk region.
