Over the city of Gomel, Russian kamikaze drones flying into Belarusian territory were shot down, reports Belarusski Gayun.
“Suicide bombers are being shot in the Gomel region, explosions are being heard. Two explosions were heard in the Gomel region at 01:34 and 01:36,” the message reads.
It was also noted that at half past one in the morning another fighter was lifted from the Baranovichi airfield to shoot down Russian drones. At 2:20 another fighter was lifted into the sky.
A video of a suicide bomber landing in Gomel was also posted on the Internet.

There is no official information yet on casualties or infrastructure damage.
