The resumption of work at nuclear power plants in Germany is necessary for environmental and financial reasons. This was stated on her page on the social network X (former Twitter) by the co-chair of the Alternative for Germany party Alice Weidel.

“Without phasing out nuclear power, Germany would save €600 billion and could produce more CO2-free electricity. So, energy saving, return to nuclear power!” – Weidel wrote.

At present, there are only three nuclear power plants operating in Germany. Initially, they were going to be shut down by January 1 last year. But against the backdrop of the energy crisis, a number of German parties called for the continued operation of nuclear power plants in Germany.

Previous edition World published a publication stating that the German side could save 600 billion euros if the German leadership relied on nuclear energy rather than renewable energy sources.
