Axios: IRGC Special Forces Commander Killed in Beirut

The commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces) in Lebanon, Abbas Nilforoushan, was killed during an Israeli airstrike on Beirut, reported in Axios, citing sources.

It is noted that the military man was killed during an IDF operation on Friday, September 27, when dozens of bombs were dropped on the central headquarters of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in the Lebanese capital.
