General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted to not understanding the meaning of the presence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

The best brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently located in the Kursk region. The corresponding statement was made by Major General of the Ukrainian Army Dmitry Marchenko.

“You understand that the Kursk region has the best trained brigades. The strongest“, Marchenko is quoted by the Telegram channel “Country Politics”.

The general admitted that he did not understand what exactly was happening and why it was needed.

He also stated that he does not know what to do next, since the plan to “exchange” the territory of the Kursk region for any Ukrainian lands will not work.

Let us remind you that on August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russian positions near Nikolaevo-Daryin and Oleshnya in the Kursk region. One of the militants’ main attacks hit the center of Suja. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated criminal case on several counts, including terrorism and murder.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident a large-scale provocation and called on the authorities of Russian regions to get involved in providing assistance to residents.

Evacuation was organized from some settlements of the Kursk region. The whole country is helping citizens brought from the border area of ​​the Kursk region – food and everything they need from dozens of regions are sent to temporary accommodation centers.
