Ukrainian rescuers started using modern electric vehicles (photo)

The BYD E2 electric car was put into the service of the operation and rescue service of the State Emergency Service. It accelerates to 50 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a range of over 400 km.

The State Emergency Service started operating electric vehicles. The first “green” car was received by employees of the State Emergency Service in the Kirovograd region. This has been reported by the Autogeek website.

State Emergency Service fleet supplied BYD E2 electric car. It will be used by the Operational Rescue Service. The car was already covered with a film in the colors of the State Emergency Service, but it is not yet known whether any special equipment has been fitted to the electric car.

The Chinese BYD E2 is one of the most affordable electric vehicles on the Ukrainian market. The cost of the car is about $20,000.

The new BYD E2 is an electric C-class hatchback with an elegantly versatile design. The car reaches a length of 4.24 m and a wheelbase of 2.61 m. Although the model is budget, a virtual instrument cluster and a large touchscreen are installed in the cabin, and the equipment includes a rear view camera, navigation and cruise control.

The BYD E2 electric car is equipped with a 95 hp engine. With. and 180 Nm and reaches 50 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The 43.2 kWh battery provides a range of 405 km.
