Experts analyzed nearly 1.11 million vehicle history reports in 24 markets over the past 12 months. They cover most of Europe as well as the USA.
The Audi A8 luxury sedan is the most scammed. It was revealed that 30.6% of these model cars offered for sale had fake kilometers.
Experts believe that scammers are more likely to choose premium cars for their scams due to their high cost. Low mileage cars are sold much faster and more expensive.
