Named cars that suffer the most from mileage scams

Most often, German premium cars suffer from mileage return. The popular Ford Mustang sports car also reached the top.

In the used car market, various manipulations of “reducing” mileage have been practiced for quite some time. Carvertical experts named the 20 car models that most suffer from such frauds.

German cars are the most affected by mileage fraud. First of all, this applies to crossovers and premium sedans.

Experts analyzed nearly 1.11 million vehicle history reports in 24 markets over the past 12 months. They cover most of Europe as well as the USA.

The Audi A8 luxury sedan is the most scammed. It was revealed that 30.6% of these model cars offered for sale had fake kilometers.

Experts believe that scammers are more likely to choose premium cars for their scams due to their high cost. Low mileage cars are sold much faster and more expensive.
