Romanian venture company Colibri has introduced an inexpensive M22 electric motorcycle. It should go into production in May, and sales in Europe and the US will start in August at a price of $2,799.

The Colibri M22 electric motorcycle is the invention of designer Petre Georgescu. He has to use public transportation very often, which is both troublesome and costly. He found an alternative way to get around the city.

The Colibri M22 is a light and compact electric bike with a steel frame. It weighs only 30 kg without batteries and can be folded up, for example, to carry on the train or take the elevator to an apartment.
