Experts interviewed nearly 25,000 owners of modern crossovers, along with insurance company MotorEasy. Drivers told what kind of malfunctions they encountered during the operation of their vehicles and how difficult it was to repair them.

The rating only took into account malfunctions that occurred in the last 24 months of operation. They identified 25 models with high reliability.

The most reliable modern crossovers under 5 years old:

14 Volvo XC60

Reliability Score: 96.7%

The first generation Volvo XC60 crossover has proven to be quite reliable. Only 11% of the cars were found to have suspension problems.
