Avoid accidents at all costs: Vehicles with the best driver assistance systems are named

In 2023, Euro NCAP tested three popular crossovers. The best result was shown by an electric car tested in 2022.

Experts tested advanced driver assistance systems of modern cars. They chose the safest models of 2023. The rating is published on the Euro NCAP website.

Euro NCAP has conducted tests that demonstrate the effectiveness of ADAS safety systems. The tests show how necessary driver action is and how the vehicle responds when systems fail.

Specialists specifically tested three popular crossovers – Nissan Ariya, Renault Austral and Alfa Romeo Tonale. These cars showed different results.

The Nissan Ariya electric crossover received four stars for safety, with a 77%/86% rating. Renault Austral was recognized as the safest model of the brand with a rating of 77% / 92%.

The Alfa Romeo Tonale performed the worst of the crossover trio, with a final rating of 54%/76%. Security systems were not stable enough.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE electric car became the leader among all tested cars. The model received five stars for safety with an 85%/100% rating.
