The new Kia EV5 will initially only be available in a 218-horsepower rear-wheel drive version. Its weight is 1870 kg and its top speed is limited to 185 km/h.
The lithium iron phosphate battery of the Kia EV5 will be manufactured by BYD. Its capacity is 77 kWh and the declared power reserve is about 600 km. More features are promised to be released in October.
