Deer test: Ford Puma crossover pleasantly surprised with excellent handling (video)

The test was a Ford Puma in the EcoBoost MHEV ST-Line version. The crossover is equipped with a “soft” hybrid power plant with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor with a capacity of 125 hp. and 210 Nm of torque.

Ford Puma EcoBoost MHEV ST-Line can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 191 km/h.

During the deer test, the appearance of an unforeseen obstacle on the road is simulated. To successfully complete the test, the vehicle must maneuver at speeds of 72 km/h or higher.

Ford Puma passed the deer test with a gross weight of 1760 kg. So the test conditions are close to reality.

The driver managed to cross the obstacle course at 78 km/h. According to experts, the crossover has excellent handling at the level of sports cars.
