The new modification of the supercar is based on the Audi R8 GT3 Evo II racing car. The new product received an aggressive body kit with many carbon aerodynamic elements.

A loaded Audi R8 supercar in GT3 style has been spotted on the Nürburgring race track. Most likely this is an extreme modification of the model for public roads. This was reported on the Motor1 website.

Production of the Audi R8 supercar will cease in 2023. The model may have a successor with an electric powertrain.

This car is similar to the Audi R8 GT3 Evo II race car in many ways. But there are plates on the front and back.

The new model differs from the standard model with a different body kit with many carbon aerodynamic elements. At the front there is a large splitter and a hood with air intake.

At the back there is a large wing and a carbon diffuser. The car was also equipped with new wheels with central nuts.

According to rumors, the production of the new modification will be entrusted to Scherer Sport, which has been collaborating with Audi Sport for a long time. Only 100 examples are expected to be produced.

The standard Audi R8 is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 620 horsepower. and 580 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.1 seconds. The maximum speed is 331 km/h.
