SVOLT batteries for electric and hybrid cars will provide a range of up to 350 km.
The Chinese company SVOLT has introduced a new type of battery for electric cars with marking 2.2C-5C. According to Pandaily, this means that these batteries can be charged in at least 12 minutes.
According to media reports, SVOLT has launched various products that make up its new battery series for electric vehicles. The company said its batteries charge the fastest among all similar devices because the current output level is 2.2 – 5 C. This means they will need 12 to 30 minutes to charge to 100%. Fast charging cells are claimed to be suitable for the most popular passenger car models. The entire hybrid battery range, including 62Ah, 90Ah and 117Ah models, has been updated to support 2.2C fast charging.
SVOLT also offered:
- hybrid lithium-iron battery that can provide the vehicle with a range of more than 300 km;
- Hybrid triple battery providing 350 km travel;
- 800V-3C hybrid battery for fast charging.
These products can be installed in Class B SUVs, Class C SUVs and minivans with configurations ranging from 45 to 65 kWh. The manufacturer described all three batteries as “world firsts” of their kind.
The company has produced LFP fast charging batteries for electric cars with capacities of 105 Ah, 130 Ah and 133 Ah respectively, which enable them to reach a maximum charging speed of 4C. All new products are developed based on “Fly stacking + Short Blade” technology.
We previously reported that American officials view Chinese-made batteries as a threat. It is claimed that by hacking these, hackers can attack the American networks to which the devices are connected.
