New features include an expanded form for entering current indicators, embedding information about different types of meters, and an EIC code and a QR code for easy payment.
Sergey Kovalenko, CEO of the YASNO energy supply company, posted on Facebook information about the updated paper electricity bills that Kyiv residents began to receive. According to him, the company is trying to organize the payment method in a way that is simpler and clearer.
“We’re updating billing, it’s a huge process and payments are one of the snippets that the customer can see. But overall everything is designed to make payment easier and more straightforward,” Kovalenko wrote.
The CEO highlighted several points of change for the paper invoices that the people of Kyiv receive. Between them:
- expanded form for entering actual indicators. With its help, users will be able to transfer data from different types of meters;
- in the field of indicators registered by the supplier, information from a two-zone and three-zone meter for separate zones is indicated;
- the calculation block contains more information, including the expected consumption and the recommended payment amount;
- specified in the invoices.

Kovalenko noted that the company tried to avoid misunderstandings as much as possible during the update while creating a new form of payment. At the same time, he reminded that the electricity consumption bill is available in an online format, as before – customers can use the mobile application or personal account on the website.
“This way, payments are always made to the right account, with the right details, and you understand why exactly this is the amount to be paid and nothing more,” the CEO said.
Recall that the energy system of Ukraine gradually switched to programs of planned outages. According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Ukrainian electrical engineers managed to stabilize the situation with electricity supply in most regions of the country.
On December 15, the head of the Kyiv OVA, Oleksiy Kuleba, said that 3.8 thousand families in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region were left without electricity due to weather conditions. Repair crews are fixing the causes of the lack of light, but bad weather is affecting the pace of restoration work.
