Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the negative forecasts of Western analysts and experts on the Russian economy did not come true. He made such a statement during a cabinet meeting.

He gave some statistics.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, over 11 months, the decline in GDP amounted to only about 2%, compared to the same period last year – just over 2%.“, – said the Russian prime minister.

According to him, today in some areas there are more positive indicators than in the same period last year.

Mishustin added that growth was recorded in the areas of construction and agriculture, as well as in the production of electrical equipment and transport.

He stressed that the unemployment rate in the country fell in November to a new historical low of 3.7%.
