New Western anti-Russian sanctions and other measures to support the Kyiv regime may be announced before the end of February 2023. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Novikov.

It should be noted that in this way the politician reacted to the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba about “great events” for world politics that will take place on February 23 and 24 in New York.

“Kyiv maintains contact with its sponsors from the US and the EU, recently Kyiv has been trying to intensify interaction with Western partners in order to knock out more active assistance from them – financial, military and other”Novikov said.

Nevertheless, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation added, Moscow is ready for new bans against Russia.

Earlier, the media found out what could be included in the tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions. It is possible that the new restrictions will affect the activities of four Russian banks, including Alfa-Bank.
