“The EU side provides such conditions that the loan repayment period is 35 years, the interest is paid by our European partners instead of Ukraine. This is an example of how sympathetic the partners are to our country’s debt burden.”
According to him, in 2023, both grant and loan funds will be allocated to Ukraine. At the same time, efforts are underway to ensure that the rate of funds received is the same as last year.
“We now have a commitment of about $10 billion to be made available to Ukraine in the form of grants this year,” Olga Zykova said.

In 2022, the European Union allocated 9.5 billion euros to our country in the form of loans and grants. It was designed to promote monetary stability and meet urgent financing needs.
