Russia is very disappointed that South Korea has decided to expand the list of goods subject to anti-Russian sanctions. This statement was made in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“Deeply disappointed with this decision, which is in line with the anti-Russian line of the “collective West” led by Washington and, no doubt, taken at the behest of a senior ally”says the message on site departments.

The Foreign Ministry also noted that what happened only once again demonstrated that Seoul cannot independently pursue a policy towards the Russian Federation. Against this background, Russian-South Korean cooperation, which already suffered after the republic joined the first package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, will be seriously damaged.

“The unfriendly actions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will affect not only the entire range of bilateral ties, but also the quality of cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of Korean settlement”added the department.

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Korea announced its intention to make changes to the system of foreign trade control. This means that from February 24 to March 16, 741 goods that Russia can allegedly use for military purposes will be added to the list of products subject to export control for deliveries to Russia. Among them are machine tools, bearings, heat exchangers, equipment for oil and gas processing, steel and chemical products, cars and spare parts for them, as well as quantum computers and parts from them.
