At the same time, Jens Stoltenberg noted that Ukraine’s allies should increase the production of ammunition. According to the NATO Secretary General, this issue will be discussed at the meeting of defense ministers of allied countries on 8 March. It is necessary to agree on new standards for ammunition stockpiles so that we can replenish our own warehouses and transfer them to Ukraine.
Jens Stoltenberg said, “Allies in NATO have signed contracts with defense industry companies to increase production, receiving signals of our long-term needs, and I welcome this move. Some allies are starting joint projects and buying various types of ammunition and ammunition depots.” Additional.
New military aid package to Ukraine
