Almost out of work: part of the assets in Ukraine was finally taken from the oligarch of the Russian Federation

The National Agency for Identification, Monitoring and Management of Assets has been determined as the winner of the competition for the selection of a manager for the detained assets of mineral water producers and distributors, primarily “Morshinskaya”. This is stated on the website of the National Agency for the Detection, Search and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).

It was reported that “Carpathian Mineral Waters” LLC won the competition. The company has been operating in the domestic market for more than 15 years with the production of both mineral water and soft drinks. The message also states that the competition started on February 10, 2023, with 10 companies participating but only submitting one document after the deadline. Now, after evaluating the company rights arrested, a management contract will be signed with the winner of the election.

Note that the place of registration of the company “Carpathian Mineral Waters”, according to Youcontrol, is the Lviv region. The owner of the firm is Sergei Ustenko.

Recall that in the summer of 2022 in Ukraine, a company engaged in the production and sale of mineral water was arrested for its shares and funds by a court decision. According to the publication “Economic Fact”, it was about the assets of the company IDS Group Ukraine, which is owned by the Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman. This company owned enterprises for the production of mineral waters “Morshinskaya” and “Mirgorodskaya”.

In fact, IDS Group Ukraine is the leader of the Ukrainian mineral water market. It included companies such as:

  • Morshinsky mineral water plant “Oskar”;
  • Mirgorodsky mineral water plant;
  • Truskavets mineral water plant;
  • Company “IDS Aqua Service”;
  • Distribution company PJSC “Industrial and distribution systems”.

Who is Mikhail Fridman?
