They change the payment procedure for immigrants in Ukraine: who will receive money for the whole year

The Ministry of Reintegration said which of the immigrants who changed the payment procedure at the end of summer will continue to receive financial support for the whole year.

From 1 August 2023, innovations that will affect payments to IDPs in Ukraine will enter into force. According to the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, financial assistance will be provided to IDPs for six months under the amendments.

However, some categories of Ukrainians will be able to receive payments throughout the year. As explained in the chapter, these are families in difficult living conditions. That is, these are families where the average monthly total income per beneficiary does not exceed four subsistence levels for persons who have lost their ability to work.

In addition, families can count on government support for 12 months, this includes people of working age:

  • looking after children up to and including the age of six;
  • Having and caring for three or more children under the age of 18;
  • are persons with disabilities;
  • group I disabled people or children with disabilities, etc. ministering citizens.

However, if there is an unemployed person of working age in the family who has developed his economic independence (for example, having a job, registered as unemployed at the employment center) during the first six months for which the funds are paid to him, registered as an individual entrepreneur, economic self-sufficiency, etc. For people whose average monthly income does not exceed three subsistence levels – the state will also pay such families a living allowance for 12 months.

The same applies to:

  • For displaced persons who have lost the ability to work or have reached retirement age, but for persons who have lost the ability to work, the pension amount does not reach three living wages.
  • Minors and minors not accompanied by a legal representative.

What payments can IDPs expect in 2023?

The state continues to automatically pay aid to Ukrainians who find themselves in a difficult life situation due to the war. The amount of this aid:

  • 3 000 hryvnia – children and citizens with disabilities;
  • 2 000 hryvnia – the rest of all other citizens.

Recall that the IDPs illegally received financial aid of 893 million hryvnia from Ukraine. According to analysts, more than 151,000 citizens left the country after the outbreak of a large-scale war, but 94,000 of them continue to receive state payments.

We also remember that the people of Kiev will be paid monthly. 1.2 thousand UAH to 2.5 thousand UAH Financial support in the framework of the program “Care. Towards the people of Kiev”.
