Employers will be able to receive additional funding from the state if they meet various conditions. Donetsk Regional Employment Center experts shared the details.
Due to the war in Ukraine, global problems arose: crisis in the economy, migration, destruction, the outflow of labor. Meanwhile, the Donetsk Regional Employment Center said that even in such a difficult time for the country, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to receive compensation from the United Social Contribution (SSC) for the employment of new workers.
They noted that in accordance with the Procedure approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 18, 2023 and numbered 338, employers are provided with a single contribution compensation in exchange for contribution to employment in new jobs.
Right to compensation
Employers who provide new jobs for at least two years have the registered unemployed in the direction of the employment centre. This condition also applies to the following employers:
- are the subjects of small businesses;
- Creating new jobs and employing registered unemployed in these jobs by making employment contracts.
Important
Compensation is also provided provided that the salary of a working worker for the fully completed monthly (hourly) norm of work is not lower than the minimum wage established by law.
Here No compensation will be given if there is a debt:
- upon payment of a single contribution;
- on the payment of insurance premiums for compulsory state pension insurance;
- on the payment of wages;
- Before the state (local) budget for more than 6 months.
- If a bankruptcy (bankruptcy) procedure has been initiated or is in the process of liquidation, provided for by the Law of Ukraine regarding bankruptcy procedures.
Compensation amount
The monthly compensation amount is 1,474 UAH. The payment is calculated for each single working month from the date of employment of the registered unemployed. The duration of the compensation payment is 12 months over the next two years.
Important
Recall that in Ukraine they plan to oblige all employers to pay existing debts to employees. Otherwise, they will face heavy fines according to the draft law numbered 9510.
