“Diya” launches a new service: who will benefit from it and how it will be tested

Beta testing of a service in the Diya application has begun, with which Ukrainians can pay fines for administrative offenses quickly and without waiting in line. This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov on September 21.

He explained that it is difficult for the country’s citizens to remember all the rules and laws, so people often break them. For example, they pass customs control, but they do not declare funds. Or they smoke, which is not allowed in public places.

“The new service on Diya will allow you to pay fines without a lot of paperwork, going to court and the bank. Just a few clicks on the application will be enough for this,” he said.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is currently checking whether the service works correctly and is user-friendly. For this purpose, they are conducting beta tests in which ordinary Ukrainians can participate.

• citizen 16 years old;
• the taxpayer’s account card has a verified Registration number in “Dii”;
• a case involving a fine for administrative violation.

Social assistance in “Diya”

At the beginning of September 2023, Ukrainian parents were allowed to apply for the following benefits through the Diya portal:

• when adopting a child;
• caring for a sick child;
• assistance to persons and children with disabilities in childhood;
