Social payments 2024: payments for children
The amount of payments for children is related to the minimum subsistence level. The following payments are expected to be made in 2024:
- assistance to women on maternity leave who are unemployed or individual entrepreneurs – 757 UAH;
- state payments for children in case the father evades alimony – 1,281.5 UAH for children under 6 years old and 1,598 UAH for children 6-18 years old;
- Allowance for a child under 6 years of age for whom custody has been established – 6,407.5 UAH, if there is a disabled child – 8,970.5 UAH;
- Allowance for a child aged 6 to 18 years, whose custody has been established – 7,990 UAH, for a disabled child – 11,186 UAH;
- assistance to a person caring for a sick child – 5,126 UAH for children under 6 years old, 6,392 UAH for children 6-18 years old.
Aid for disabled and low-income people in 2024
Payments to disabled people, low-income people and carers are also linked to the living wage.
Aid for people with disabilities in 2024:
- Disability since childhood, group I – 2,361 UAH.
- disability since childhood, group II – 1,888.8 UAH;
- disability since childhood, group III – 1,416.6 UAH;
- Disabled children under 18 years old – 1,652.7 UAH.
Help for carers:
- for a person with group I disability – 4,722 UAH for subgroup A and 2,361 UAH for subgroup B;
- for persons with disabilities of II and III groups 17 70.75 UAH (if there is a decision of the medical commission on the need for care);
- For a disabled child under 6 years of age – 5,163 UAH for subgroup A, 1,281.5 UAH for other cases;
- For a disabled child aged 6-16 years – 6,392 UAH for subgroup A, 1,598 UAH for other cases.
Government aid to low-income families Calculated in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On State Social Assistance to Low-Income Families”:
- for healthy people – 1,362.6 UAH;
- for persons who have lost the ability to work or are disabled – 2,361 UAH;
- for children – 3,331.9 UAH up to 6 years old, 4,154.8 UAH for children 6-18 years old, 3,936.4 UAH for children 18-23 years old, if they are studying;
