Buying residential real estate in Ukraine has become even more expensive. Thus, according to State Statistics Service data, prices in the real estate market increased by an average of 14.5% in 2023.

At the same time, apartment prices increased by 12.8% in the primary market last year and by 15.6% in the secondary market. It now costs 14% more to buy a one-bedroom flat in the primary market, 11.1% more for a two-room flat, and 17% more in the secondary market. At the same time, the cost of three-room apartments increased by 13.5 percent in the primary market and 14.8 percent in the secondary market.
The increase in housing prices in Ukraine was above official inflation rates. Thus, according to the Ministry of Economy, the inflation rate was 5.1% at the end of 2023.
