Other suppliers also have flat rates. For example, the price of gas for household consumers in April will fluctuate in the following range: 7.7 to 9.99 hryvnia per cubic meter. The lowest price for its customers was determined by the Eru to People company, and the highest price was determined by Svetlogaz. Six suppliers offer Ukrainians to buy natural gas for less than 8 hryvnia, but five more companies have set a price above this figure.
The population also pays extra for the delivery (distribution) of natural gas. Consumers receive additional receipts each month at the stated price. According to the Ministry of Finance website, the figures for payments vary by region, as the final cost is determined by the scheduling operator. For example:
- In Vinnitsa, consumers pay 2,112 hryvnia per cubic meter of gas;
- in Zhitomir – 2,040 hryvnia per cubic meter of gas;
- in Zaporozhye – 1,104 hryvnia per cubic meter of gas;
- in Lviv – 2,028 hryvnia per cubic meter of gas;
- In Odessa – 1,308 hryvnia per cubic meter of gas.
Preferential gas tariffs
The Ukrainian government plans for the cost of gas for thermal service enterprises to remain at the level of 2022. Currently the tariff for businesses is fixed, but the tariffs expire in April, so the Cabinet plans to extend them.
Thus, the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading LLC is planned to supply natural gas until April 15, 2025 at the following prices:
- For the needs of thermal energy production for the provision of thermal energy and hot water supply services to the population – 7420 hryvnia including VAT per 1000 cubic meters of gas (excluding tariffs for transport services);
- budget institutions – 16,390 hryvnia including VAT per 1000 cubic meters of gas (excluding tariff for transport services).
