Russians have access to a wide and varied market of services for organizing non-cash payments, capable of adapting and satisfying client requests depending on the situation. This was reported on March 28 “News“ with reference to the press service of the Central Bank of the country.

Thus, there are tools on a national scale – the Fast Payment System (FPS), Mir Pay applications (for phones on Android OS version 7.0 and higher) and SBPay (for phones on different OS, including iOS), as well as the own payment services of various banks . A solution such as QR codes is being actively implemented.
The regulator provides comparative data: only through SBP in 2023, purchases were made 4.5 times more often than a year earlier. Currently, there is also an increase in the popularity of the mentioned non-cash payment services.
Thanks to the development of the payment services market, the share of non-cash payments in retail is increasing. Over the past year the figure was 83.4%.
