Parchís was a group created between 1979 and 1985 by members Yolanda Ventura, Constantino Tino Fernández, Gemma Prat, Francisco Diaz and David Muñoz, who over time managed to make different generations dance and sing; “Parchis” has achieved millions of sales of its records, as well as outstanding success in tours, concerts and films.

This children’s group originated in Barcelona, Spain, however, throughout their career, they managed to conquer different countries; The group disbanded in 1992, and each of the members continued their professional paths, and some, like Tino Fernandez, decided to start musical projects as a soloist.

“Tino” Fernandez and his tragic accident

This “Parchís” member was one of the most famous male icons of his generation, so when the band broke up, he decided to try his luck as a solo artist. He released three albums, but the last one did not receive wide public recognition, so he decided to work as a sportscaster.

“Tino” Fernandez was born in Barcelona and devoted his life to music, and later decided to distance himself completely from this world, especially after a serious accident in which he lost his arm. In the late 90s, the famous singer was returning from a work meeting while driving his car and, while trying to bypass the van, had an accident, as his car drove into the oncoming lane, colliding head-on with another vehicle.

After this event, the All I Want interpreter lost his left arm and suffered a severe head injury that left him unconscious; In addition, the accident left him with emotional repercussions, but with the support of his wife and former Parchis colleagues, he returned to work and returned to Barcelona. Currently lives with his wife and family.
