Singer Valery Syutkin refused to use the word “Kyiv” during the performance of his hit “Moscow Beat”. Eyewitnesses reported this on August 26.

Syutkin gave a concert at the Glavclub. During the performance, he changed Kyiv to the Russian city of Sochi.

“Let everyone who loves the beat dance with us – Sochi and Magadan, Penza and Yerevan”– this is how the changed line of the song sounded.

The situation was commented by the representative of the artist Alexander Shobolov. According to him, Syutkin often changes the words of songs during concerts. And replacing Kyiv with Sochi was not a “political act.”

“He just inserts new locations, new names, depending on who we are performing for. Well, he wanted to. This is not on purpose, not some kind of political moment. Tomorrow, instead of Magadan, there will be Salekhard or some other city. .This does not call for anything and does not oblige “– Shobolov said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

Recall that a few days ago, singer Irakli Pirtskhalava, during his performance at a major music festival in Yekaterinburg, suggested that fans “rename” their hit “London – Paris” to “Volga – Irtysh”.
