– You will fulfill the dream of a girl …

Caroline Rosario: Finally!… My sister says that This is the girl I’ve been waiting for 7 years.because my son is 6, but since I got pregnant, I remember saying: “I want a girl,” and God sent me a boy.

Now I have created a mentality that I will be a boy and I have been very innocent in revealing the sex, I had a blue collar like I was giving myself up so I wouldn’t be disappointed… When I saw that it turned out pink, I burst into tears, I could not believe it, as if it could not be. life is so beautiful and having a couple that was a dream for me personallyalmost reality now.

-What an original way to say it, with a fight between the puppets…

Caroline Rosario: It got people’s attention as much as I did, I didn’t know what this “gender reveal” was going to be, I didn’t plan this part, niece and girlfriend who really help me a lot, they are like my Nanny here in Miami, they took it upon themselves to develop a plan. When I saw those 2 dolls that came to my house, I started laughing and did not understand what was happening.. I’ve seen them fight even when the smoke is coming and when a girl defeats a guy and the girl remains, I somehow do not immediately understand what is happening… As if lost, I become aware of pink smoke and start screaming and crying with excitement.

– How did you, even as a journalist who always wants sensation and exclusivity, endure you until that day to find out what your child was going to do?

Caroline Rosario: I’m very curious, really, and you said it very well, as a journalist, you always want to know everything, they say that we are like gossip, but this is not true, this is what we want to tell ourselves. With my first child, I did not expect anything, the doctor told me: “I have sex, do you want to know?” … And in the office I called and he already told me.

for this second Baby, yes, sex seemed something special to meand I even decided, instead of a baby shower, because I don’t think there is a baby shower as such, to do something about gender reveal. So I decided not to know, not to look, what I was waiting for, I myself wanted to be surprised … Nobody believed that I did not look.

-Now that you know and are going to fulfill the dream of a girl, how did you start to realize it?

Caroline Rosario: Firstly, I’m very excited, and rightly so, on the night of the Sex Reveal, I think it was around 4:00 in the morning, and at dawn I felt the first stir of a child, or For the first time I felt like a fist, and it gave me so many emotions, as if it was already talking to me.. Thinking about what the room will be like, what clothes I will buy for her and how I will raise her.

I always think a lot about how I will raise my son or daughter, with Kalel the same thing happened to me when I was pregnant and it was like I want him to be that kind of a man, according to the times, when we live in that they have such principles. Same with the girl I want to have a strong, brave girl, a girl who dares to do anything, who achieves great things.Y For her to be feminine, but for her to be a leader, for her to be bold, that worries me a lot..

-Your girl is about to arrive in a world where women have a lot more space, but at the same time a lot more challenges, how does the daughter prepare for such a strong world?

Caroline Rosario: All women go through this in the present. one always you feel that you have to prove yourself, prove that you can, which should not bebecause the same thing doesn’t always happen to men. I want to raise my daughter consciously, explain to her and talk to her a lot about how things work.. I always say: what happens in your house and how you equip your place, so they are going to do with the rest of the citizens abroad … In my case, taking advantage of the fact that I will have a man in my house, I think that I will often use an example, not a comparative one, but of the coexistence of a girl and a boy.always letting him know that a boy and a girl are different, in some way, biologically, but at the level of what they want to do or the opportunities that they will have, always let him know that it’s the same.

If my daughter wants to play football or basketball like my son, I want her to play.. Just like my son does sports, but he loves to play in the kitchen, and I bought kitchens for him, and I have people who tell me: “Oh, why buy a kitchen for a child”, why not?…I don’t buy her a girl’s kitchen, I bought her a neutral kitchen, which said that the kitchen belongs to women, and so little by little I go like this, including all the points of education, so that they always understand this, andalthough there are things that biologically distinguish them, at the level of capabilities and at the level of what they want to do, what they likethere should be no separation.

-Sometimes women can think the same way and not always in everything related to raising children, parents think the same way, how in your case?

Caroline Rosario: This is the biggest problem of almost all couples, coinciding with the father in the way of thinking, however, they are in similar features, there are always differences. There is always one that makes him stronger than the other, when one is a little more disciplined the other will open up more and let things happen a little more. It often happens with my husband, we think alike, but at the same time he believes more in structures, I’m a little more flexible so to speak, and I made a lot of mistakes in the process. I will never say that I am perfect and that we are perfect, here we learn new things every dayand we’re trying to get better, but I can tell you that I’ve definitely learned that as a couple, When making a decision in front of children, if we do not agree, we should talk about it, because children are very smart and analyze everything.and when they see that the parents have a difference and that through this difference they can enter in order to achieve their goal later, they will do it.

-How do you imagine combining the work that is your passion and that you love so much now with two?

Caroline Rosario: This is a question I ask myself every day. to me I have always wanted to be a mom of two and the truth is that my job is very time consuming…. Children are a blessing, I have a plan more or less, obviously who will take care of it for me, I already have practice with the first one, but there are places in this plan that I don’t know how they are going to solve and I always try to leave it a little to God in how I plan and organize myself, but also leave it a little to faithbecause one controls everything when your life is so busy it really drives me crazy because there is no way.

Once I already have a girlfriend who helped me with Kalel, she is going to help with this new baby.. Fortunately, my husband and I have mixed schedules, I work at night, he works during the day, with the exception of Sunday, that’s where I cope with the situation, and how I did it, I’ll tell you later.

-Children learn more from their own example than from what they are told. What do you want them to learn from you?

Caroline Rosario: I want them to always see that to achieve something in life you have to fight.The point is not that we will live in a world in which you only need to work and work, but that to achieve something you have to work for it, and when you work in a mixture where life rewards you. You also achieve your goals, and that is why I always explain to my son: “son, I have to work, I know that I will work hard, but mom has goals, dreams and this also helps us grow, if I grow, the family grows”… I use a lot in the smallest matters, if he wants something special, I give him a task or something that he knows what, if he does, receives the award, this level of the family as a whole.

-When one day your children searching on Google, on search engines, find this interview, what do you want to say to each of them?

Caroline Rosario: At this moment of my life that I am giving this interview, because I am 34 years old and I do not know when you will be able to see, hear and understand, it will be the same person as at this moment, but I can tell you that today, in the present, I am the happiest woman in the world, and that of all the wonderful things that have happened in my life, which have been many blessings, the greatest, without a doubt, the one who made me better, the one who made me know myself better, learn more about life in the world, understand it, be better with others, were them, Kalel and the girl who is on the path.
